Let me start with the decision.

Why AI

Over the past while, I've felt, physically, that the way we work is changing at its foundation. Things that took half a day now finish in a few exchanges. Things I'd never have attempted alone are suddenly within reach. At first it was novelty. Then it became clear: this isn't a passing trend, it's the grammar of work itself changing.

So I decided to stop watching from the outside and step in.

Why do it in the open

I could learn quietly on my own. Instead, I chose to document it publicly. Three reasons.

First, writing preserves the learning. An experiment that only happens in your head disappears; one written down becomes an asset. The me of next month can learn from the me of today.

Second, the open makes me honest. Knowing someone might read it is what keeps me from hand-waving and pushes me to actually understand.

Third, and most important, connection. There are people out there wrestling with the same questions. If others on the same path find this record and link up, this journey goes much further. That's exactly why this blog is called codechains. Single links, joined, become a chain.

What will pile up here

This isn't a blog of grand conclusions. Quite the opposite. I'll keep a raw record of what I actually do with AI, where I get stuck, and how I work through it, the dead ends as honestly as the wins.
